While we are still waiting for Samsung to confirm the official date of its event, two notable writers have claimed to know the official release date in the U.S.

Popular tipster @evleaks tweeted that it looks like the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be released in the U.S on Friday, 11th March. In a reply to his tweet, @xguntherc from GottaBeMobile said he heard from his source that the date is a week earlier on 4th March.

As a refresher, Samsung announced the Galaxy S6 on 2nd March last year and it hit retail shelves globally from 10th April.
