Korean news site Hankyung claims the Samsung Galaxy S25 lineup will be exclusively powered by Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite platform.

Samsung mobile chief TM Roh is expected to attend the Snapdragon Summit 2024 in Hawaii to secure a deal for the Galaxy S25.

The apparent switch to the Snapdragon 8 Elite platform is likely due to the rumoured poor production yields for the Exynos 2500 chips.

Word on the street is that Samsung initially planned to use the Exynos 2500 for the Galaxy S25 and S25+.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 lineup is likely to debut in January 2025 with "top-of-the line upgrades" for the camera and display specs.
