While the Samsung Galaxy S23 series is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 platform, the upcoming Galaxy S23 FE might be running on an older Snapdragon platform.
According to tipster @OreXda, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is said to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 so as to keep the price affordable. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 was unveiled in May 2022, and offers up to 10% faster speeds and 30% power reduction than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
Samsung is rumoured to be unveiling the Galaxy S23 FE later this year. The Galaxy S23 FE is reportedly replacing the Galaxy A74 and could be available in more markets.
