Samsung's third foldable device, the Galaxy Fold 2 may not be available for purchase in August.
Tipster @MaxWinebach shared in a tweet that the software for the phone is far from being finalised yet and a release in early August seems unlikely. Display Supply Chian Consultant CEO Ross Young joined the conversation and said that production is not starting till August.
Young expects the retail availability to be in late August or September and stocks could be constrained at launch due to low volumes of the Ultra Thin Glass (UTG).
The Galaxy Note20, Galaxy Fold 2 and Z Flip 5G are rumoured to be unveiled in early August with retail availability in end August. The Galaxy Fold 2 is expected to use UTG similar to the Galaxy Z Flip.
