Red iPhone 8 and 8 Plus available for order today, arrive in stores Apr 13

As expected, Apple just announced the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition.

The 2018's (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition is slightly different from last year as the iPhones now come with black front bezels. Apple also unveiled a new (PRODUCT)RED iPhone X Leather Folio. 

A portion of proceeds for all (PRODUCT)RED purchases will go directly to the Global Fund HIV/AIDS grants that provide testing, counseling, treatment and prevention programs with a specific focus on eliminating transmission of the virus from mothers to their babies.

The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition will be available in 64GB and 256GB models at the same retail prices as the non-red models:

• 4.7-inch iPhone 8 (64GB/256GB): S$1,148 / S$1,388
• 5.5-inch iPhone 8 Plus (64GB/256GB): S$1,308 / S$1,548

Available for order on apple.com/sg from 8.30PM on 10 April, the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition will be delivered to customers on Friday, 13 April. The phones will also be available in Apple Orchard Road from 13 April.

The first wave of launch countries include Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, the U.K and U.S.

Consumers in Brazil, Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, UAE will get these models later in April with Chile, Colombia, India, Israel, Turkey and other countries and regions following in May. 

The new (PRODUCT)RED iPhone X Leather Folio will be available from apple.com/sg, the Apple Store app and Apple Stores for S$148 beginning tomorrow (10 April).
