Razer's Project Linda is a laptop-shaped dock for the Razer Phone

Linda itself has no core hardware, and all processing is handled by the Razer Phone. Simply slot the phone into the dock and press a hardware button that causes a USB-C port to extend directly into the phone, locking it in place. The laptop will then power on, with the phone's display turning into a touchpad with secondary screen functionality (where supported).

As you can see, the laptop is running a desktop version of Android (similar to Samsung's Dex device), which makes it slightly less exciting than a Windows laptop, and mostly limits what games you can play on it. Razer is showcasing Linda at CES with Vainglory, an Android MOBA.

Linda does have extra storage space (around 200GB on the CES prototype) and it also has a built-in battery that charges the Razer Phone while it is docked.

All things considered, this is probably one of Razer's least exciting CES concepts (especially when you remember Motorola already tried this with the Aptrix Lapdock back in 2011) and pales in comparison to last year's Project Valerie. But unlike Valerie, at least Linda actually has a good chance of making it to market.
