Qualcomm unveils its latest 5G modem, the Snapdragon X75
Commercial devices with the Qualcomm Snapdragon X75 are expected to launch in the second half of the year.
Qualcomm just unveiled its latest 5G modem, the Snapdragon X75.
By having a converged transreceiver for mmWave and sub-6, Qualcomm says the Snapdragon X75 occupies 25% less circuit board space and consumes up to 20% less power.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon X75 has more support for 5G carrier aggregration; it supports 10-carrier aggregration for mmWave and five-carrier sub-6GHz aggregation.
With the new Qualcomm 5G AI Processor Gen 2 and Qualcomm 5G AI Suite Gen 2, the Snapdragon X75 can help the device have a better connection on the move.
The Snapdragon X75 also has the world's first sensor-assisted mmWave beam management and AI-enhanced GNSS Location Gen 2 to boost location accuracy in challenging environments such as dense city spaces.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon X75 is currently sampliong and is expected to debut in commercial devices by the second half of the year.
