Qualcomm and Samsung extend strategic partnership through end of 2030
Both companies agree to the 7-year extension of patent licensing agreement through 2030.

Qualcomm and Samsung announced an extension and expansion of their strategic partnership through 2030.
Both companies agreed to extend their patent license agreement for 3G, 4G, 5G and 6G mobile technology through the end of 2030. In addition, the strategic partnership will expand the Snapdragon platforms for future premium Galaxy products which include phones, tablets, PCs, extended reality and more.
Qualcomm is reportedly the exclusive supplier for chipsets for the Galaxy S23 lineup. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims the Exynos 2300 chipset cannot compete with the Snapdragon mobile platform.
