WinFuture.de has uncovered purported press images of the upcoming Huawei P30 and P30 Pro phones.

Starting with the display, the P30 series will be adopting the teardrop notch design which is a different implementation from the hole-punch cutout on the Samsung Galaxy S10 series. The P30 is said to have a 6.1-inch OLED display (2,340 x 1,080 pixels) while the P30 Pro is likely to have a 6.47-inch curved OLED display with the same resolution. There will also be an in-display fingerprint sensor for both models since there is no rear fingerprint sensor.

As for the rear camera setup, both phones are expected to come with three rear lenses although the P30 Pro will have a fourth Time of Flight (ToF) sensor. The triple-camera system on the P30 is expected to consist of a primary 40MP f/1.8 lens, a secondary 16MP f/2.2 wide-angle lens and an 8MP f/2.4 telephoto lens. The triple-camera system on the P30 Pro is slightly better with the main sensor having a bigger aperture (f/1.6) and a higher megapixel-count (20MP) for the wide-angle lens.

The super-zoom feature of the camera is also depicted in a series of marketing photos where the 10x effective zoom is tested at a concert. The close-up zoom photos may look a little grainy, but given the low-light environment, it's pretty impressive.

Powering the P30 series are the Kirin 980 processor, 6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB/512GB internal storage options with NanoMemory card support and Android 9.0 with EMUI 9.1. The P30 is expected to have a 3,650mAh battery while the P30 Pro will have a 4,200mAh battery. Both phones support the 40W SuperCharge fast charging.

Huawei will be unveiling the P30 series in Paris on 26 March. You can register your interest at Huawei's teaser microsite.
