Poco is doing its duty to shore up our entry-level phone selection in Singapore with its latest launch: the Poco C75.
The latest C-series phone by Xiaomi’s sub-brand touts a big display with an equally sizeable battery capacity, all while keeping these perks at cut-throat prices.

Poco C75 offers a massive 6.88-inch IPS LCD panel (1,640 x 720 pixels resolution) with support for 8-bit colour depth and 450-nits typical brightness (600-nits in HBM). The panel’s standout features are its 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and multiple TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light and flicker-free qualities. Together, the panel offers a comfortable yet fluid viewing experience, even if you’re not shelling out top dollar for top specs.
It’s also designed to last the better part of the day with its 5,150mAh battery capacity, which supports 18W wired fast charging (the same speed as the Google Pixel 8a’s fast charging).

While it’s powered by a MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra processor, Poco C75 doesn’t skip out on the basics, like its 3.5mm headphone jack, dual SIM support, MicroSD card support (for extra storage), and NFC compatibility for payment and pairing needs.
The phone keeps its imaging performance simple with a single 50MP rear camera (f/1.8 aperture) that has HDR shooting, Night Mode, and Portrait Mode, per its spec sheet (which makes its four rear cutouts a strange choice).
You’ll be pleased to know that even the Poco C75 offers some pixel-binning since there’s the option to shoot in full 50MP (at the cost of pixel brightness and accuracy). Video recording supports up to 1080p at 30FPS.
Nice design aside, it features four rear cutouts when the phone only has a single rear camera. Image: Poco.
Some niceties include face unlocking and a side fingerprint sensor. Poco also offers the option to choose between 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM configurations (LPDDR4X), but there’s virtual RAM extension to bring either variant up to a virtual 16GB. Finally, it’s also skinned in Xiaomi HyperOS, so you still get a tidy-looking Android interface at a low price.
Pricing and availability
The Poco C75 retails for S$169 (6GB+128GB) and S$199 (8GB+256GB). It is available at the official Mi.com online store and Shopee platform. It comes in three colours: Black, Gold, and Green.
