We are less than a month away from Samsung's official event for the Galaxy Note 4 and leaks on the upcoming phablet are just beginning to surface.

GSMArena managed to obtain three exclusive photos of the upcoming device, which show off a metallic frame similar to the fabled Galaxy Alpha. The rear of the device seems to be made of plastic with a leather-like texture.

Based on the photos, it appears that Samsung is retaining the same display size (5.7-inches) on the Galaxy Note 4. It also seems to have a heart rate sensor alongside the rear camera just like the Galaxy S5

Coincidentally, an anonymous leaker sent an alleged photo of the Galaxy Note 4's retail package to PhoneArena which reveals some important information. First, the design of the phone seen on the retail box matches that of the device from the photos obtained by GSMArena. Second, the retail package has a metallic pattern which could possibly hint that Samsung would use new materials for the Galaxy Note 4.

Third, the image of the Galaxy Note 4 on the retail box has a new wallpaper which has a similar style as what Google normally uses for its Nexus devices. Could this be a hint that the Galaxy Note 4 is the first Android Silver handset? Fourth, the image of the Galaxy Note 4 shows the date September 15 which could be a possible reference to the global availability of the device.

The Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Alpha smartphones are believed to be the two high-end models that Samsung hopes to help reverse its falling sales and fend off competition from Apple's new iPhones.
