Over 30% of iPhone users have a 4-inch screen

According to analytics firm Mixpanel, nearly a third of all iPhone users in the world are using one with a 4-inch screen. This means the iPhone 5, iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c.

Interestingly, looking at the chart above, the number of iPhone 5s users stands at just under 20%. This is the second largest group after the iPhone 6 and could mean that there is a market for a smaller 4-inch iPhone.

Apple is rumored to be launching a new 4-inch model next month. It could be called the iPhone 5se, and rumors say it will sport an A9 processor and a camera similar to that found on the iPhone 6s, and will have updated features like Touch ID and Live Photos.
