Oppo Reno10 5G series, consisting of the Oppo Reno10 5G, Oppo Reno10 Pro 5G, and Oppo Reno10 Pro+ 5G.
We’re finally getting Oppo’s new (and ever-popular) Reno series phones again in Singapore. This time around, Oppo is bringing its full Reno10 5G series, which includes not just the usual midrange Reno10 5G and Reno10 Pro 5G, but also its higher-end Reno10 Pro+ 5G. Without further ado:
Oppo Reno10 Pro+ 5G
Oppo Reno10 Pro+ 5G.
Oppo’s Reno10 Pro+ 5G is a relatively new variant to its popular Reno series. The “plus” variant first began with the Reno9 lineup (which did not come to Singapore), featuring an Oppo Reno9 Pro+. What was typically a midrange series now featured a “flagship-lite” version with upgraded components.
To that end, the Oppo Reno10 Pro+ 5G comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, a late-2022 flagship-grade chipset that’s also featured on most of our high-end or premium-tier HWZ Tech Awards 2023 smartphone nominees.
Ultra-Clear Portrait Camera System.
The phone’s core feature is its imaging capabilities, which Oppo dubbed Ultra-Clear Portrait Camera System. This rear triple camera configuration has its 64MP Telephoto Portrait Camera as the headlining lens, instead of its 50MP main or 8MP ultra-wide camera.

Oppo also said that the 64MP Telephoto Portrait Camera is the “highest spec periscope telephoto camera available on any smartphone, ever”, offering a combination of 3x optical zoom, 6x in-sensor crop zoom, 120x digital zoom, 4-in-1 pixel-binning, both CDAF and PDAF autofocusing, and a generous f/2.5 aperture. That’s truly a lot of power packed into its supposed portraiture photography wizard.
This Android 13 handset also has a 4,700mAh battery with 100W proprietary SuperVOOC wired fast charging, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, and 5G network compatibility, all powered by LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
All these are tucked underneath Reno10 Pro+ 5G’s 6.74-inch LTPS AMOLED, HDR10+-capable panel that supports up to 1,400-nits peak brightness, 120Hz refresh rate, with adaptive refresh rate at fixed intervals (45, 60, 90, 120Hz) for extra battery savings. It has a unique screen resolution of 2,772 x 1,240 pixels, sitting in between Full HD (1080p) and Quad HD (1440p).
Our review for the Oppo Reno10 Pro+ 5G is also here, if you're curious how the phone holds up in Singapore's competitive smartphone market.
Oppo Reno 10 and Oppo Reno10 Pro
Oppo Reno10 Pro 5G.
The Oppo Reno10 and Oppo Reno10 Pro are the Reno series phones that the Singapore market is more familiar with, touting a typical midrange package made for the international market.
Both are 6.7-inch handsets with AMOLED panels with Full HD resolution (2,412 x 1,080 pixels), offering 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, with 950-nits peak brightness. They all run Oppo’s version of Android 13 (ColorOS 13), like the Plus variant above.
Both models also offer Wi-Fi 6 support, 5G network compatibility, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and use a slower storage technology (UFS 2.2). Like the plus variant above, these phones are also equipped with an under-display optical fingerprint sensor, making them viable midrange options that are more affordable than the Reno10 Pro+ 5G. The slower storage option, though, might increase the loading time of larger games and apps.
Where they mainly differ are the camera configurations, processor choice, and battery capabilities.
Oppo Reno10 5G.
Reno10 Pro 5G has a triple rear camera array with 50MP main, 32MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom, and 8MP ultra-wide. Reno10 5G, on the other hand, offers 64MP main, while keeping the same 32MP telephoto and 8MP ultra-wide. The Reno10 Pro 5G’s main camera has a larger pixel size by default (1.0µm versus 0.7µm on the Reno 10 5G), making it capable of taking better low-light shots than its regular variant.
Also, the Reno10 Pro 5G has 4,600mAh battery that supports a faster 80W wired charging, while the Reno10 5G packs a bigger 5,000mAh battery with 'slower' 67W wired charging.
Finally, Reno10 Pro 5G uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G processor, while the Reno10 5G uses MediaTek Dimensity 7050 instead.
