OPPO teases new magnetic phone accessories for Find X8 series, and they’re compatible with Apple MagSafe

It looks like the OPPO Find X8 series will be offering a user experience that goes beyond its cameras and build quality.
Zhou Yibao, Director of Flagship Products at OPPO, posted a teaser video on his Weibo social media page. It showcased a few OPPO-branded phone accessories alongside an unlikely candidate, an Apple iPhone.
The first is an OPPO-branded magnetic power bank that attaches to the phone’s rear and delivers wireless, contact-based charging. This was demonstrated twice: first with an OPPO handset, followed by an iPhone with its logo clearly visible before the OPPO magnetic power bank covered the Apple logo.
The following accessory was a circular magnetic puck, roughly the size of a mini-mooncake, and an alternate car-mount design showing the same magnetic charging dock in a vehicle.
In both examples, it was clear that the OPPO charging devices were compatible with Apple’s MagSafe charging technology.
