The launch event is coming “soon”.

Oppo today (29 August 2023) sent an official statement saying that the Oppo Find N3 Flip clamshell foldable smartphone will have global market availability, and it’s coming soon.
It wouldn’t be much of an announcement if it ended there. The interesting bit here is that Oppo made that announcement in English and sent that announcement to the HWZ editorial team.
This implies that the clamshell foldable is already gearing up for an international launch (hence the use of English as opposed to Mandarin, per typical Chinese tech company practices).
The second implication is that the Oppo Find N3 Flip will likely come to Singapore.
“For Find N2 Flip, we created the best flip phone possible, and now Find N2 Flip is the number one foldable in China. We couldn’t be more proud. For Find N3 Flip, we’re bringing upgrades across the board – elevated styling, an improved cover screen experience, and a game-changing flip phone camera – simply put, expect the exquisite from Find N3 Flip,” said Pete Lau, SVP and Chief Product Officer at Oppo.
Oppo said that the Find N3 Flip will have “world-class hardware” with its “powerful imaging engine and iconic Hasselblad experiences”, on top of a more powerful cover screen, long-lasting battery life, “and so much more”. Unfortunately, the announcement has no other concrete details, save for an official render of the Oppo Find N3 Flip in three colourways.
Oppo’s previous clamshell foldable (Find N2 Flip) was introduced to Singapore barely six months ago (review here). We can presume that its expedited launch cycle is partly because of the predecessor’s consumer demand.
