Say, are you a OnePlus fan? If so, reliable leaker Ishan Agarwal has just posted the specs of the upcoming OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro phones.
For a start, both the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro are said to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 chipset and come in two RAM (8GB/12GB) and two storage (128GB/256GB) capacities. However, the 8 Pro’s RAM is faster and more energy efficient because it’s based on LPDDR5 instead of LPDDR4x.
In other areas, the 8 is the smaller of the two handsets and features a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, while the 8 Pro has a 6.78-inch QHD+ display that supports 120Hz. The 8 Pro also has a bigger battery (4,510mAh vs. 4,300mAh) and additionally supports 30W wireless fast charging (!) and 3W reverse wireless charging. Agarwal also says that both phones support OnePlus’ proprietary 30W (5V @ 6A) Warp Charge quick-charging tech first seen on the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition.
In the camera department, the OnePlus 8 is said to feature a triple-rear camera setup: 48MP + 16MP + 2MP. Four cameras are expected on the IP68-rated 8 Pro: 48MP + 48MP + 8MP + 5MP.
OnePlus is expected to unveil the OnePlus 8 series in mid April.
