If you are turned off by the two million requests on OnePlus' invite system and happen to be residing in Malaysia, you may have a chance to purchase one soon.

Malaysian telco Maxis has started taking reservations for the OnePlus 2 although it does not state when the invitation codes will be sent out. The codes will be sent out on a first come, first served basis. Maxis was the first telco to partner with OnePlus to sell the OnePlus One last year and it seems that the partnership is still going strong.

Consumers in Singapore have to be patient as the OnePlus 2 is slated for availability in Q4 2015. The 64GB model will be available for S$538 without line contract with Lazada as the official retailer. OnePlus also states that it is in talks with the local telcos for other retail options.
