Nothing entered the smartphone market about three years ago with the Phone (1). Though it may have been around the block for a while, the company has yet to release a true high-end flagship phone model. This will change next month.
Nothing announced on its X account the Phone (3) will arrive on 1 July, 6 pm BST (2 July, 1 am SGT). The press release also revealed the Phone (3) will be the company's first true flagship phone.
The company recently confirmed it killed its distinctive Glyph Interface—an LED backlighting system that provides visual cues for important notifications. Also, the Phone (3) is likely to cost £800 (~S$1,392).
When the Phone (3) launches on 1 July, it will join the midrange Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro in the lineup. We reviewed the Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro in April and found them to be lacklustre compared to the competition.
Perhaps the Phone (3) will put the company back on track to delivering great phones at reasonable prices. The Nothing Phone (3)'s launch event will be streamed live on YouTube.
