The next iPhone to have IP68 rating for water and dust resistance?

The next generation iPhone is expected to come with better water and dust resistance.

An industry source told The Investor that the iPhone 8 will feature IP68 rating for water and dust resistance as part of a major revamp marking the 10th anniversary of the iPhone. This will put the iPhone 8 on par with the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. 

The improved water resistance is likely one of the many new features which are rumored to debut on the iPhone 8 such as a plastic, curved OLED display, wireless charging, an all-glass casing and stainless steel frames.
