Microsoft has confirmed the duration of OS and security updates for its new Surface Duo 2.
Similar to the first generation Surface Duo, Microsoft has confirmed that the Surface Duo 2 will be receiving three years of OS and security updates. As for the Surface Duo, Microsoft shared that it is working to bring Android 11 "before the end of this year".
As a quick recap, the Surface Duo 2 runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 and 8GB RAM with two 5.8-inch AMOLED screens that combine into a single 8.3-inch display. Other specs include a triple-lens camera on the rear and an all-day battery life.
