LG to Unveil 3D Phone at Mobile World Congress 2011

LG will be unveiling the LG Optimus 3D, the world's first 3D smartphone offering consumers a full 3D experience right in the palm of their hands at this year's Mobile World Congress.

We were just informed by LG that the company will be revealing its first 3D-enabled mobile phone at Mobile World Congress 2011. This includes a dual-lens camera to do 3D recording, and a glasses-free 3D LCD panel to view 3D content from.

Given that LG has already announced quite a number of items, including and the that is equipped with its new Nova display, the Korean company might have a bountiful year after all. The LG press conference will be happening on the 14th of February, and hopefully, we'll get some hands-on time to give you a feel of what this 3D phone will be like.
