LG seems to have plans to expand its G4 series further with a new "S" variant.

According to Russian publication hi-tech.mail.ru, LG may be planning to unveil the G4 S later this year. It is rumored to come with a 5.2-inch 1080p display, an 8-megapixel rear camera with laser autofocus and an octa-core processor. From the leaked images, the G4 S inherits the same design language as the G4 in a smaller form factor. Unlike typical "S" class products in general, this doesn't seem to be a better edition of the G4, but just another variant for those who prefer a slightly more compact device.

The Korean company launched the G4 Stylus and G4c in May, which are the two other members of the G4 family. It is also alleged to be launching a 5.8-inch G4 Pro by the end of the year.
