LG has earned a spot in the Guinness World Record Book for the most number of consecutive selfies taken in one place with help of an LG G4, its flagship smartphone.

According to LG, over 2,500 participants took part in the "world's longest selfie relay chain" held in Mexico City over a duration of two hours on 13th June. The official statistics include a total of 746 individual and group selfies with a selfie taken every 10 seconds. Surprisingly, the G4 used did not run out of battery during the record attempt.

Besides gaining a place in the record books, this publicity stunt is likely to garner more attention to the 8-megapixel front-facing camera and 3,000mAh battery of the LG G4.
