Lenovo Launches Five Smartphones at CES 2013
Lenovo today announced five smartphones which are designed for different market segments. The phones will be available in China and select global markets from January 2013.
Lenovo today announced five smartphones, with each device offering a specific set of features and specifications to meet the needs for its target market segment. The five new smartphones are the S890, S720, P770, A800 and A690.
The two S Series smartphones are packed with multimedia and entertainment features, which are designed for young, urban professionals. The new P Series smartphone is for professionals, and focuses mainly on long battery life, security and anti-virus protection. The other two A Series models are primarily entry-level smartphones which have fairly advanced features at affordable price points.

In addition the four models listed in the table, Lenovo also has an entry-level smartphone, the IdeaPhone A690. Lenovo claims that it is the first in its class to break the 1GHz barrier. It has a 4-inch display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, and offers dual-SIM capability.
The newest phones from the IdeaPhone portfolio will be available in China and select regional markets beginning January. Pricing for models varies according to market and model. In-country pricing will be announced closer to the local availability date.
