Leaked benchmarks show Apple's iPhone XS outperforming Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S10+ on Geekbench.
The Galaxy S10+ is powered by the new Snapdragon 855 processor and it earned a single-core score of 3,414 and a multi-core score of 10,256.
The iPhone XS, on the other hand, has recorded single-core scores in the region of 4,797 and multi-core scores of 11,264.
Model | Samsung Galaxy S10+ | Apple iPhone XS |
Single-core | 3,414 | 4,797 |
Multi-core | 10,256 | 11,264 |
Apple's single-core performance is over 40% better and its multi-core performance was about 9% better.
While this doesn't look encouraging for Samsung, remember that benchmarks aren't indicative of real-world performance or usage experience.
Samsung will unveil the new Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S10 on February 20 in San Francisco ahead of MWC 2019.
