Apple CEO Tim Cook revealed during an earnings call that the iPhone 12 is the most popular model, but sales of the Pro models are also “very strong”.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo made the prediction in October 2020, citing the affordability and 5G as the main drivers for sales. Counterpoint Research’s monthly Market Pulse Service indicated that the iPhone 12 was the best-selling 5G phone in October.
The higher demand for the iPhone 12 led Apple to boost its orders by 30% this year. Recent data from Counterpoint Research shows that 6 of the top 10 best-selling phones in January were iPhones and the iPhone 12 ranked at the top of the list.
