In iOS 17, the Photos app can decipher those confusing laundry symbols for you

We are slowly discovering all the new features of iOS 17 and one of them is that it can help you do your laundry.
According to Federico Vittici of MacStories fame, the Photos app in iOS 17 can help you decipher the laundry symbols that you see on your clothings' tags.
If you take a photo of your laundry tag and tap on it, your iPhone will show you and explanation for these symbols.
And according to tests, it seems that it's intelligent enough to recognise all the common symbols including washing machine temperatures, bleach recommendations, ironing temperatures, and more. However, you do need to ensure that you take a clear photo of the symbol.
This works as part of iOS' Visual Lookup feature and the report says this works with common car symbols on car dashboards too.
