International Samsung Galaxy Note II Units Missing Multi-Window Feature
Some European users have reported that the multi-tasking mode is missing on their Galaxy Note II units. According to Phone Central, "international units... ship with the earlier firmware, and don't have the multiwindow option yet".

Most of us keeping an eye on the new Galaxy Note II has probably already watched this promo video by Samsung, in which some of the device's unique features were highlighted. One that really stood out was the multi-window feature, which allows users to use two apps instead of one at a time on its huge 5.5-inch screen. Apps can resized accordingly as well, depending on which you deem more important.
However, some European users have reported that the multi-tasking mode is missing on their Galaxy Note II units. According to Phone Central, "international units... ship with the earlier firmware, and don't have the multiwindow option yet". Reportedly, those running on N7100XXALIK and newer should be fine.
While this might be a result of Samsung wanting to get the Note II out in the markets as quickly as possible, we are hoping that the Singapore-bound units would not be affected or at least, rectified before it ships to our island. On the bright side, these firmware problems should be easily solved with an update, but hopefully it would come soon.
Samsung has yet to comment on the issue officially yet, but we will keep you guys updated.
