Impossible to Hack Android 4.0's 'Face Unlock' Feature with Photos

Apprehensive of Google's new Face Unlock Feature? Google reassures that its face-recognition technology will not be that easily bypassed.

The new Face Unlock feature found in Android 4.0 OS (Ice Cream Sandwich) has had a few questions regarding its capabilities and one of them so happens to be Koushik Dutta (Koush), the lead developer of popular Android aftermarket firmware CyanogenMod. The little "discussion" has been documented below:

 

 

So now we have it - straight from the horse's mouth. Google's Developer Advocate, Tim Bray's curt reply confirms that at the very least, your phone will not be hacked by sinister friends who have access to your Facebook photos.
