Huawei's triple-folding smartphone will be called the Mate XT.
Huawei has revealed the official name of its upcoming triple-folding smartphone.
The official name, Huawei Mate XT, is revealed towards the end of a 14-second teaser video that is posted on Weibo. Unfortunately, there is no hint of its design or specs in the video.
The Huawei Mate XT will be part of the Ultimate Design branding. Announced at the end of last year, the Ultimate Design is reserved for Huawei's most premium, most flagship devices.
There are currently two products under the branding, the Mate 60 RS and the Watch Ultimate Design. The latter launched in Singapore at the end of last year with a price tag of S$3,998.
Huawei has scheduled an event on 10 September and the highlight is expected to be the Mate XT. In addition, the Mate XT will reportedly go on sale shortly after the launch event.
