Google likes to keep people guessing on the manufacturer it will be working with for the next generation Nexus smartphone, but a Chinese analyst claims to have information on Google's plans.

According to Chinese IT analyst Pan Jiutang, Huawei will be building the next Nexus phone. It is said to sport a 5.7-inch OLED display made by Samsung with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor.

The Nexus 6 is built by Motorola while the Nexus 4 and 5 are manufactured by LG. Samsung was also Google's Nexus partner for two years where it developed the Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S. The first Nexus One  was assembled by HTC.

Considering how far Huawei has come in the smartphone industry, it's time for Google to give Huawei a shot at making a Nexus phone. In addition, it makes sense for Google to partner with a Chinese smartphone maker to gain traction in the world's biggest market, China.
