Huawei claims 100,000 units of the foldable Mate X are sold every month

Huawei has revealed the official sales numbers of its Mate X foldable phone.
According to a Chinese report, Huawei has been selling 100,000 units of the Mate X in China every month. Considering that the Mate X officially launched in China two months ago, this means Huawei is likely to have sold around 200,000 units so far.
The Mate X retails at 16,999 yuan (~S$3,278), which prices it slightly higher than the S$3,088 Samsung Galaxy Fold. Huawei plans to unveil an enhanced variant of the Mate X at MWC 2020 next month.
