HTC's new Desire smartphones have splashes of paint on their backs

Unlike its Korean counterparts, HTC chose to release a trio of entry-level Desire smartphones with splashes of paint on their backs. Excuse us, is that even considered a feature of smartphones today? HTC even has a name for that - Micro Splash!
To put it simply, Micro Splash randomly throws paint from a brush onto the back of each phone, giving each handset a truly unique look.
