HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio Announced

The HTC Sensation XE is the first handset to offer a Beats Audio experience, working in tandem with the Beats by Dr. Dre in-ear headphones that automatically switches to the bespoke Beats by Dr. Dre sound profile.

Following up with its US$300 million investment in Beats Audio, HTC announces its first device integrated with the audio enhancement: the HTC Sensation XE.

In terms of aesthetics, the Sensation XE doesn't differ from the earlier HTC Sensation, but deep down, there's quite a number of changes. This includes a faster clock speed of 1.5GHz for its dual-core processor, and a higher battery capacity of 1730mAh to complement the faster processor.

And obviously, there's also the Beats Audio by Dr. Dre audio enhancement, which will be accompanied by a Beats by Dr. Dre in-ear headphones remote control, allowing you to pause, play or skip through tracks and answer/end calls.

The HTC Sensation XE will be available in Asia Pacific sometime in late September. Pricing details will be announced closer to the launch date.
