As rumored, HTC is indeed holding an event in April to launch its upcoming Android flagship smartphone.

HTC has sent out invites for an online event on 12th April, Tuesday where the company will provide live streaming on its website. If you're interested, you can tune in on that day at 8 pm. The upcoming flagship smartphone is likely to be called HTC 10 and may hit retail shelves on 19th April.

The HTC 10 smartphone has been seen in some leaked photos and press renders. It is also teased by senior company executives to offer "a very, very compelling camera experience" thanks to its "world class" cameras on the front and back. Other rumored specs include a 5.15-inch Quad-HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM, a 12-megapixel rear camera and a USB Type-C port.
