HTC has been actively using its Facebook page to engage its consumers, and a recent invite sent out on Facebook has caught our attention.

To be held on 1st September, the event has been short on details on what will be shown. However, Boy Genius Report has reported that it's highly likely that the event will be solely for Windows Phone 7. Specifically, for Microsoft's new update to the mobile platform, dubbed as Mango.

To showcase Windows Phone 7 Mango, there's rumors of two HTC devices that will make its debut, namely the HTC Eternity and HTC Omega. Both devices are purported to be powered by a 1.5GHz processor and an 8-megapixel camera. What differentiates these two devices will be its screen sizes, with the Eternity sporting a modest 3.7-inch display while the Omega takes on a massive 4.5-inch display.
