The elusive "magic slot" or hardware expansion slot of the LG G5 is finally revealed in the latest leak.
Android Authority received what it claims to be "a legitimate photograph of the LG G5" with a bulky module attached to it. While you may dismiss it as an extended battery pack, the presence of buttons and a dial suggest otherwise.
Based on previous reports, the "magic slot" allows user to add extra functionality to the smartphone via hardware modules such as cameras, audio amplifiers and a physical keyboard. Android Authority believes we are looking at a camera module which offers additional features. The dial could be used for zooming while the button to the right of the dial could be a power button. The button to the left of the dial could function like a shutter button.
Getting excited over the "magic slot" of the G5? Well, just exercise some patience as LG is going to unveil the G5 on 21st February in Barcelona.
