Google rolls out extended repair program for Pixel 8
The extended repair program offers support coverage for affected Google Pixel 8 devices with display related vertical line and flickering issues.

Google is offering support coverage for affected Pixel 8 devices for three years after the date of original retail purchase.
Google just rolled out an extended repair program for the Pixel 8.
In a post on its support page, Google says the extended repair program applies to a limited number of Pixel 8 devices that may experience display-related vertical line and flickering issues. To check if your Pixel 8 device is eligible for the extended repair program, it needs to:
- exhibit a vertical line running from the bottom of the display to the top or a display flicker
- has a device identifier (e.g. IMEI, serial number) determined by Google or authorised repair partner
For Pixel 8 owners who experience similar display or other issues but are not eligible for the extended repair program, Google says their devices may still be covered under the standard limited warranty.
