Google is in the midst of streamlining the look of its various services and apps, one of the most recent examples being the updated Google Search app for iPhones. Android users need not worry as Google hasn't forgotten the Android OS with an update to the Google+ app for Android.

The app is now visually sleeker and gets a new slide-out navigation ribbon to jump between the various parts of the app. The stream now features +1 buttons that are easily accessed, and users can now edit posts inline if they have made any mistakes in the post. Photos can now be directly downloaded from Google+ to users' phones too. Another improvement to the app is that Hangouts can now be started from your phone as opposed to the previous version of the app where users could only join a Hangout but not start one.
