Xiaomi is holding an event on 19 April in Beijing to announce its next flagship smartphone, the Mi 6. As with most phone launches these days, nothing is ever kept secret.

Geekbench scores reveal that the Mi 6 phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB RAM and Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Its benchmark scores reportedly surpass that of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+.

Other rumored specs of the Mi 6 include a 5.15-inch 1080p display, a 19-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, a 3,200mAh battery and MIUI 8. We'll be attending the event next week, so keep your eyes peeled to HardwareZone for the latest updates on the Mi 6!
