KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who is well-known for his accurate leaks on Apple products, shares his predictions about the Samsung Galaxy S8.

In an investor note released two days ago, Kuo shared that the Galaxy S8 will come in 7 color options which are gold, silver, bright black, matte black, blue, orchid and pink. A serial leakster has posted a purported photo of the Galaxy S8 in all the colors except for matte black, and they do look stunning.

While Samsung typically adds more color options for a handset weeks or months after the launch, this is probably the first time the company is releasing all at once. It could also be possible that certain colors are exclusive to certain markets or Samsung is planning to release the colors gradually to drive demand for the Galaxy S8.

Samsung will be unveiling the Galaxy S8 at the Galaxy Unpacked event on 29 March in New York. Pre-orders are expected to start on 10 April with retail availability slated for 21 April
