Satellite connectivity and an upgraded fingerprint sensor are the latest rumoured features coming to the Samsung Galaxy S23 lineup.

TheElec reports Samsung will be partnering Iridium, which has 66 low-orbit communication satellites. Aside from satellite connectivity for emergency use, Samsung plans to extend the feature to include "transmitting data such as text messages and low-capacity images at hundreds of kbps."

Tipster @RGcloudS shared the Galaxy S23 Ultra will be equipped with Qualcomm's 3D Sonic Gen 3 fingerprint sensor. The upcoming ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is likely to have a bigger surface area and boast faster processing.

Samsung is rumoured to be unveiling the Galaxy S23 lineup in early February 2023.
