Galaxy Note7 replacement sets in South Korea are overheating or losing juice

Several consumers who exchanged their Galaxy Note7 units in South Korea claim that their replacement units are overheating or losing battery juice.

While Samsung is carrying out recall or exchange programs worldwide for the Galaxy Note7, new reports surfaced in its home country of replacement units either overheating or losing battery juice faster than normal.

The South Korean company reportedly acknowledged that some consumers have complained about their replacement sets overheating or losing battery power even when they are being charged. The complaints appear to be isolated in South Korea.

If the replacement units suffer from any form of battery defect, it could complicate matters for Samsung as it struggles to gain back consumers' confidence in its branding.
