G6 Pro and G6 Plus said to be launching on 27 June to support LG Pay
Would the launch of two new G6 models help to expand the LG G Pay mobile payment service in Korea?
Following the news of two more LG G6 variants launching later this month, Korean publication ETNews claims to have knowledge of the exact launch date and the reason behind it.
According to ETNews, the two G6 variants - the LG G6 Pro and G6 Plus - will be unveiled on 27 June and the company is adding a new color option, "Optical Astro Black" which will give different shades of black at different viewing angles.
ETNews also believes the launch of these two handsets will help to expand the user base of LG Pay. LG Pay was announced three months ago and is expected to be supported on LG's upcoming smartwatches too.
