Besides being sluggish and unreliable, the fingerprint sensor on the Google Pixel 6 may suffer from yet another problem.

According to reports on Reddit and Google Issue Tracker, a completely flat battery may disable the fingerprint sensor on the Pixel 6. Users claim that the fingerprint sensor cannot work after rebooting and charging the battery. A factory reset is said to be the only solution at the moment.

Google is aware of the issue, but it remains to be seen if a software update is able to fix it.
