Remember the DxO One camera accessory for the iPhone and iPad which was announced in June 2015? Starting from today, it has become more affordable as DxO slashed its price from US$599 to US$499 (~S$694)

The updated version 1.3 of its companion app allows you to use the camera's display as a framing assistant for quick composition of photos and videos. There is also a new motion blur alert along with JPEG compression and bitrate options. Photos can be browsed in the same order as the one in the iPhone's Photos app.

DxO's own review of the camera accessory places it near the likes of DSLR cameras such as the Nikon D7200, the Sony A7S, the EOS 5D Mark III and 7D Mark II.
