Before the official launch on 13th August, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 was rumored to support microSD expansion on the dual-SIM model and many consumers were hoping that it was true. However, hands-on photos taken in Taiwan of the model proves otherwise.

Thanks to the user on ePrice.com.tw, it is confirmed that the dual-SIM card slot of the Galaxy Note 5 can only support nano-SIM cards unlike the Galaxy A8 where one SIM slot doubles as a MicroSD card slot. Power users have to make do with the 32GB or 64GB models, which have about 24.86GB and 54.43GB of available storage space out of the box.

The dual-SIM Galaxy Note 5 is reportedly available in Taiwan and the Philippines. To find out more about the Galaxy Note 5, do read our detailed hands-on article here.
