Confirmed: 5.9-inch Oppo N1 Arriving on 1st March

Priced at S$799, the Oppo N1 will be hitting shelves next Saturday. Of course, the highlight of the new smartphone is its 206-degree rotatable camera. On top of letting you take quality selfies, the 13-megapixel camera comes with a dual flash function, and utilizes six physical lenses to attain sharper images.

You've probably heard that the Xiaomi Redmi was sold out in a mere eight minutes. If you didn't manage to purchase one, fret not. SingTel is offering the smartphone at the IT Show 2014. Now, Oppo Electronics has confirmed that the recently announced Oppo N1 will be hitting our shores here next Saturday, 1st March.

The main highlight of the 5.9-inch smartphone is its 206-degree rotatable camera. Besides enabling you to take high quality selfies, the 13-megapixel camera's dual flash function provides both a normal flash and a diffused softer light, and supports long exposure photography of up to eight seconds. And, it utilizes six physical lenses to attain sharper images without distortion.

Priced at S$799SS$769, the Oppo N1 also features an O-Touch rear panel which allows users to scroll, tap, or snap photos without blocking the screen.

For mobile phone owners who frequently misplace their phones, there's the O-Click remote control (that's sold separately); the keychain-like device supports a range of up to 15m, and lets you activate an alarm if you lose your phone. Connected to the phone via Bluetooth, users can also remotely operate the N1 camera with O-Click.

Oppo Electronics Singapore has also previously announced its plans to release two more smartphones: the 5-inch Oppo R1, and the 4.7-inch Oppo Find 5 Mini.
