The Cat S32 is an ultra-rugged Android 10 phone which costs less than S$500

Cat phones unveiled the Cat S32 at CES 2020, which is an ultra-rugged Android 10 phone with a more affordable price tag. 

Similar to other phones in its portfolio, the Cat S32 has MIL SPEC 810G rating which means it is able to survive harsh environmental conditions and drops. It is stated to be waterproof and dustproof with IP68 rating.

The company claims the phone has passed its rigorous and repeated drop tests from 1.8m onto steel, which includes multiple drops onto every side and corner. In addition, the Cat S32 is put through vibration and tumble tests, salt mist conditions, built to survive thermal shocks, and operate in high and low extremes of temperatures.

Other specs include a 5.5-inch HD+ 18:9 display with scratch-resistant DragonTail Pro Glass, a 4,200mAh battery, MediaTek Helio A20 MT 6761D 1.8GHz quad-core processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage with microSD memory card slot, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing camera, LTE CAT 6 support, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a two-year warranty.

The Cat S32 has a retail price of €299 (~S$450) and is available now via catphones.com and retailers.
