With iPhone season just two months from now, Apple has instructed suppliers to begin production of its new iPhones.

Citing information from people with knowledge of the matter, Bloomberg claims that Apple has started early production of the new iPhone models with Force Touch. In addition, the upcoming iPhones are said to retain the same design as the current iPhone 6. Manufacturing will pick up as early as next month although timing and production may be affected by the supply and yield of the displays.

Bloomberg's latest report seems to corroborate earlier rumors of a launch in September and integration of Force Touch, a pressure-sensitive technology which was introduced on the Apple Watch last year. The latter feature will help Apple differentiate the iPhone from its rivals, especially Samsung which has offered devices with curved displays.
